Anthony W. Soslow, CFA
Anthony Soslow is President and Chief Investment officer of Global Capital Management (GCM), an SEC Registered Investment Advisor where he supervises all investment functions. After founding the company in 1997, Mr. Soslow implemented his investment process, which he started in 1990, evaluating the quality, value and business prospect characteristics of U.S. equities. From 1986 through 1997 Mr. Soslow was Director of Portfolio Management at RTE Asset Management where he helped the firm grow assets from 200 million in 1986 to over 2.0B billion in assets ending 1997. Mr. Soslow served as a member of that firm's Investment Policy Committee and was directly responsible for the day-to-day portfolio management across all asset classes. With over 21 years of portfolio management experience utilizing both a quantitative and fundamental process, Mr. Soslow has been consistently named a “best of breed portfolio manager” for his successful Small Cap investment strategy.
Mr. Soslow graduated with honors from the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
Philip Mendelsohn, CFA
Philip Mendelsohn is a Head Portfolio Manager with Global Capital Management with over 13 years of investment experience. Previously, Mr. Mendelsohn led local banking initiatives for both PNC Financial and First Union and obtained extensive management experience with JC Penney. Mr. Mendelsohn’s value approach to investing is leveraged by his unique hands-on expertise in the financial services and retail sectors as such, he has been consistently named a “best of breed portfolio manager” for his successful All Cap investment strategy.
Mr. Mendelsohn received his BA from Washington University, an MBA from LaSalle University and is a Chartered Financial Analyst.
John Hammerschmidt, Portfolio Manager
John Hammerschmidt has over 20 years of investment experience and is the lead portfolio manager on GCM's Mid Cap Strategy. John spent 11 years as a senior portfolio manager and analyst with Turner Investment Partners where he was responsible for the portfolio management of all of the Turner large cap growth equity products. Joining Turner just after their inception, John was instrumental in helping Turner to grow its asset base from $400 million to over $12 billion. From 1992 through 1994 John managed the Turner Market-Neutral portfolio. In 1995 he became the initial and lead manager for the Turner Large Cap Growth Equity Product. Before coming to Turner John spent seven years as a primary dealer, market maker in the US Treasury markets for CS First Boston and S.G. Warburg (now UBS Warburg Paine Webber). John began his investment career in 1981 as a member of the Chicago Mercantile Exchange.
John received his BS from Lehigh University, and his MBA from the Fuqua School of Business at Duke University. John is a member of the Financial Analysts of Philadelphia and AIMR and holds Series 5, 6, 7, 63 and 65 examinations of the NASD.
Robin Lieberman Lane, CFA - Portfolio Associate
Robin Lieberman Lane, CFA, is a Portfolio Associate working with GCM’s Investment Committee assisting in the research and analysis of companies in the Consumer Staples Sector. Mrs. Lane previously worked as a Senior Relationship Manager for Lockwood responsible for manager research and working with advisors to gather assets and create customized portfolios matching a client’s risk tolerance. Prior to joining Lockwood, Mrs. Lane worked for Smith Barney as an analyst handling performance measurement, research analytics, and new business development for institutional accounts.
Mrs. Lane received a B.B.A. with a concentration in economics from Washington University in St. Louis and an M.B.A. in finance from Temple University. In addition Mrs. Lane earned the Chartered Financial Analyst designation and is a member of the CFA Institute and the CFA Society of Philadelphia. Mrs. Lane has over 13 years of investment experience and holds a Series 7, 24, 63 and 65 licenses.
Chad Moseng - Investment Analyst
Chad Moseng is an Investment Analyst with GCM responsible for monitoring, trading, performance measurement and reconciliation of the firm's institutional accounts. Mr. Moseng has over eight years of experience in performance measurement and investment accounting. Chad also has worked as a Global Market Analyst with SEI Corporation, Trading Assistant with Susquehanna, and Research Assistant (BlackRock).
Chad received his BS from Drexel University in Business and Administration.
Stacy Sullivan - Investment Analyst
Stacy Sullivan is an Investment Analyst with Global Capital Management, Inc responsible for performance measurement, reconciliation, quarterly reporting and monitoring model portfolios for dispersion. Previously Ms. Sullivan worked as a NASD Compliance Examiner responsible for both routine and special examinations of member firms' financial, sales, trading, underwriting and supervisory practices. Ms. Sullivan also worked for tier one consulting firms preparing monthly and quarterly investment reports for various institutional clients showing attribution, asset allocation and performance results.
Ms. Sullivan received her BA in Finance from James Madison University.
