AMVAC Chemical Corp. has donated $25,000 to the Environmental Institute for Golf (EIFG), the philanthropic organization of GCSAA. AMVAC will officially present the gift to the EIFG at the 2018 Golf Industry Show in San Antonio. The money will be used to support the GCSAA Grassroots Ambassador Academy at the Golf Industry Show.

AMVAC is now a member of the EIFG’s Cumulative Giving Program’s Executive Club, for organizations that have donated between $25,000 and $49,999 since 1987. AMVAC produces and markets products that protect public and animal health, safeguard property from damaging pests, and enhance the quality of the environment.

“With AMVAC’s generous donation, our GCSAA Grassroots Ambassadors are able to expand their advocacy skills,” says GCSAA CEO Rhett Evans. “We thank AMVAC for helping a program that will benefit the entire golf industry.”

“We are pleased to help the EIFG and GCSAA spread golf’s positive message through advocacy,” says Ronald Johnson, senior account manager/southeastern region sales manager for AMVAC Environmental Products. “By investing in the EIFG and GCSAA, we are supporting endeavors that move the needle for superintendents and the game of golf.”
