Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc., through its Textron Golf brand, has made a $5,000 donation to the Environmental Institute for Golf (EIFG), the philanthropic organization of GCSAA. The gift was officially presented to the EIFG at the 2018 Golf Industry Show in San Antonio.

Textron Golf — which represents the combined product lines of Jacobsen, Cushman, E-Z-GO and Textron Fleet Management — is a member of the EIFG’s Platinum Tee Club, for donors that contribute $5,000 or more annually. The company is also recognized at the Champion’s Club level of the EIFG’s Cumulative Giving Program, which designates donors that have contributed $250,000 to $499,999 since 1987. Additionally, Textron Golf is part of GCSAA’s Partner Recognition Program as a Gold Partner.

“GCSAA and the EIFG have a great friend in Textron Golf,” says GCSAA CEO Rhett Evans. “Its generous donation for ongoing support of our research-based activities not only benefits our members, but the golf industry as a whole.”

“The support and research that GCSAA and the EIFG provide our industry is vital for our collective growth and success,” says Mike Parkhurst, vice president of golf and turf, North America, for Textron Specialized Vehicles Inc. “We proudly support both organizations and their dedication to superintendents, golf facilities and the game.”
